My favorite part of being in elementary school was buying new shoes in august… and it’s times like these I wish I was, A. that young again, so I can hop in my mom’s car and head to the department store to pick out a pair of sneaks to last me through the Christmas break… and B. still in grade school, where every first day feels like the biggest adventure in the world.

I agree with you completely! This is part of the reason I think about becoming a teacher sometimes, the fact that I love going back to school every year 🙂
